Why Pacquiao-Mayweather will happen, and soon

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather have already set their courses for the next few months. Whether their fights serve as aperitifs for a bout with each other remains to be seen. Still, there are more boxing experts who believe the anticipated megabuck fight between the two will happen, and that there are just a few more tumblers that need to fall into place to unlock this event and make it happen.
Carlos Costa, managing director of China Purchase Company and correspondent for NotiFight.com <http://notifight.com/> has seen it all. The Panamanian businessman travels at his own expense to big fights around the world, including to regional and world title bouts in the Philippines, and files stories in both Spanish and English. He believes that Timothy Bradley bit off way more than he can chew against Pacquiao.
“I talked to Bradley during the presscon last November at the MGM. To me one to one he was friendly and seemed a nice guy,” Costa reveals. “But during the round table meeting with the press he was uneasy and uncomfortable. Bradley will not handle the pressure of the event and the pressure of Manny. Plus, Timothy is a super lightweight fighter while by now Manny is a full-blown strong and fast welterweight. The lightning speed and combat power of the Pacman will be too much for Bradley. I am so positive that Bradley has never been in a fight like this one coming. He’ll break and will not find himself even before the first bell chimes. Provided that Mayweather beats Cotto and Manny KO’s Bradley, I think that both superstars Money and Manny would try to make the fight.”
Costa also believes that the money machine will keep rolling for Floyd, and that he and Golden Boy Promotions already have a back-up plan as an alternative to a fight with the Pacman, and that is to fight Mexico’s Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, who is on the Mayweather-Miguel Cotto undercard. Meanwhile, Chito Katangkatang of philboxing.com <http://philboxing.com/> believes that there are bigger reasons than the money for Pacquiao-Mayweather to push through.
“Mayweather and Pacquiao are both men of pride. They would like to retire free from any what ifs in their illustrious careers,” says Katangkatang, who is based in Bacolod. “They are the best of their era and the question as to who the real deal is needs to be answered. The need for the answer may be overlooked now that they are still busy making money from other sources, but they will definitely decide to settle the issue before walking out of the ring for good.”

Manny Pacquiao says 2 more fights and he is done in boxing. He said, he is definately done with boxing in 2013. But wants to fight 2 more times, and really wants Mayweather for November. Now is the time for ‘SOMEBODY’ to step up to the plate, and ‘step their game up’.

:) Let me say this between Mayweather & Pacquiao..

When the first mention of Pacquiao vs. Maywether occured; Mayweather had just asked for Olympic Style drug testing. Pacquiao refused. This is Pacquiao’s fault, why the fight was not made right away. So the first blame is pointed at Pacquiao 100%.

Now, when it comes to who deserves what with the money split…

Well, Mayweather is undefeated yes with a 42-0 record. That is awesome. He has made every fighter against him look ordinary, even to the point of making them look like amatures. This is also awesome

The downside to Mayweather is, he is a boring fighter compared to Pacquiao. Also Mayweather at the most fights once a year; sometimes to the point of fighting once every 1 1/2 years. It is easy for a fighter to remain undefeated and fresh when you only fight at the most once a year. And it is easy to stay this way.

Now let’s go to Pacquiao. Pacquiao is 100 times more exciting to watch than Mayweather. If you were to watch tapes of past fights, you would end up watching more Pacquiao fights over and over again than Mayweather fights, because like I said, Pacquiao is a far more exciting fighter than Mayweather. Also Pacquiao fights 3 times a year. And he gives more of himself in every fight. Meaning he sacrifices his body and health to give people an exciting fight. now with a record of 54-3 is he undefeated like Mayweather? No.. So does this make Mayweather deserve more money than Pacquiao if they were to fight right now.. I say probably not..

The reason behind this is.. if Mayweather had the same amounts of fights that Pacquiao has had than definately Mayweather would deserve more… meaning if Mayweather’s record was 59-0 instead of 42-0 then yes he should deserve the bigger split. But because like i said before, he only fights once a year at most, Manny has fought 59 times (including the 3 losses and 2 draws) meaning he has fought 17 more fights than Mayweather has fought. So with all this being said…

Who deserves what???

Bottom line.. Pacquiao has had 17 more fights than Mayweather so Mayweather getting more money because he is undefeated and with a habbit of fighting once a year i would say he doesn’t deserve more on this alone, maybe if he was 59-0.
But, because Pacquiao was the first reason why this fight has not happened. With not agreeing to olympic style testing, which is definately in no way anything wrong with that request or demand by Mayweather, because everyone has to agree with Mayweather when he says he just wants to clean the sport and have everyone fight in fair fight. Everyone should stand behing Mayweather on this 100%.

So like I said.. because Pacquiao was the first reason why this fight has no happened, maybe it is fair that he takes just a little bit less, but not alot, maybe 48-50 and only because of this, but not because Mayweather is undefeated. Your thoughts?

:) Miguel Cotto is finished.. he is declining, Margarito is a slow fighter who just stands in front of you.. Mayweather is fast and doesn’t stand there to get hit ever.. Cotto will lose easily. He is slow, constantly backing away, which means he will run out of gas by the 4th round, because Mayweather is is supreme athlete. Cotto gets hit too much, look at all the marks mr. slow, sluggish, with one eye Margarito did to him. Basically Cotto is being paid to give Mayweather a 43-0 record.
After seeing yesterdays fight between Adrien Broner vs. Eloy Perez and Marcos Maidana vs. Devon Alexander. I REALLY BELIEVE PEOPLE GET PAID TO TAKE A LOSS.
I’m really starting to hate De La Hoya and his fucking golden boy promotions bullshit! They basically paid these two guys to take a loss on their record. Fuck Eloy Perez was WAY TOO SMALL for Broner… and remember i told you yesterday maidana looked fat…. he was sluggish as fuck yesterday.. and he even said so after the fight that that division was too big for him, because alexander was a southpaw and fast it gave him problems, along with the moving up in weight.

TODAY AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE IN PUERTO RICO
MIGUEL COTTO: “Good Afternoon! Thank you all for coming to support Miguel Cotto and Floyd. It’s a pleasure for me to be here and to announce this great fight. I don’t have a lot to say, you know I don’t say much. All I have to say is that Miguel Cotto like always, is going to prepare like never before to come out champion of Puerto Rico. March 4th I leave for camp and I will return to Puerto Rico on May 6th as champion. That is all I can guarantee.

Bottom line, when Mayweather asks to get 100% of the pay-per-view money. That tells you with no doubt that he DOES NOT want to fight Manny Pacquiao. NO FIGHTER IN HISTORY OF PAY-PER-VIEW has agreed to get 0% of the PPV money and let the other fighter get 100%. Floyd Mayweather DID NOT even say he can have 30%, 20%, or even 10%.. So yes BOTTOM LINE, FLOYD DOES NOT WANT TO FIGHT PACQUIAO.

TODAY AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE IN PUERTO RICO FOR MAYWEATHER vs. COTTO. FLOYD MAYWEATHER SAID
“I AM NOT A CHEATER LIKE ANTONIO MARGARITO OR MANNY PACQUIAO”.
Your Thoughts?

My thoughts Uhhh …. It speaks for itself… Cotto is not a cheater like mammy and margarcheato… Manny is on steroids and Antonio uses plaster wraps when wet feel like concrete.. Why would a drunk driver first deny to take a breathalyzer test?????? Then a hour later say yea I’ll take the test???? Think about it people…

Well hears hoping the fight between Manny and Floyd can happen in November, now about the points Floyd demanded drugs test on Manny for what reasons,Floyd himself moved up throught the weight divisons and beat the best guys up there so does that mean he is on steroids 2,mannys early defeats where because he was inexperienced that’s all,and for Floyd his opponents where hand picked and still r,he dodged cotto like the plague wen he was at lightwelter, now he has seen cotto take a beating against Manny and toni he thinks now is the time 2 strike, did he not see cottos fights after they defeats cotto is much stronger at junior middleweight that’s for sure,he has neva been the fastest but if he catches Floyd he will hav problems,2nd he also has been dodging Manny saying take the test y wen he gets tested b4 and after fights and will defo show up in him,and also he only called Manny out 2 look like he wanted the fight wen all along he was scouting cotto he said he wanted Manny but neva and the only reason for that is because of the marquez fight and people sayn Manny is done, even Floyd knows Manny isn’t done other wise he would hav takin Manny instead,Manny is the only 1 that can beat Floyd and Floyd knows is that’s y he is pricing himself out,he prob wants 2 c how Manny does with Bradley but a don’t c that 1 as close as every1 thinks Bradley is new 2 the weight and has neva fought any1 near as good as Manny,a see that being ova fast Manny between rounds 4-8 or it could b a Ricky hatton Ko all over again,Bradley works inclose like hatton and Manny from the outside which spells trouble for Tim,
