number 1 to 22 paragraph.
may kalayaan.
Amen at amen.
upang maging isang templong banal sa Panginoon;
pure Word of God.

WHO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is in line for more commercial endorsements on a global scale and based on his growing international appeal, the sky’s the limit.
Pacquiao is now a global icon with Nike, appearing in advertisements on the same stage as Rafael Nadal, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Roger Federer and Tiger Woods.
During the recent NBA Finals, Pacquiao’s commercial for Hewlett-Packard’s HP Veer 4G smartphone was repeatedly shown on US TV. His punchline was: “Well, if there’s one thing I know, little guys can pack a punch.” For all intents and purposes, it was a “knockout.” Pacquiao wasn’t even introduced in the advertisement – the recognition was presumed. He was reportedly paid $1 Million for the 30-seconder.

LOS ANGELES — In the still of the NBA postseason, when the news is slow and the rumors are fast, the Los Angeles Lakers are making a lot of noise. Trade noises, that is.
Although the talks involve Lamar Odom and a handful of disposable Lakers, the eye of the gossip swirls violently around Pau Gasol, LA’s 7-foot, 250-pound center-forward, who can be electrifying on his best days, yet so painfully drab on his worst days.
Gasol played all 82 games last regular season, norming 18.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per. But his numbers declined badly in the playoffs —- 13.1 points and 7.8 rebounds —- making it way easier for the eventual champions Dallas Mavericks to sweep LA in a one-sided second round series. If Manny Pacquiao is the salt of the earth Pinoy who was born in an extreme cradle of poverty, then Mayweather is the pepper who adds needed spice to the present day fistic scene.

MANILA, Philippines – Top Rank chairman Bob Arum knows that WBO welterweight champion Rep. Manny Pacquiao won’t take challenger Juan Manuel Marquez lightly because the Mexican’s style is tailor-fit to negate the Filipino icon’s strengths.

Pacquiao and Marquez are set to slug it out at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Nov. 12. Reports have been circulating that Bob Abrum and Top Rank Promotions are mulling the possibility of Mike Jones as an opponent for Manny Pacquiao for sometime in 2012. WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr is tentatively scheduled to return this November in a voluntary defense of his title, with the most likely candidate for his opponent being former Contender participant Peter Manfredo Jr.
Where he goes after this however isn’t so clear.
Chavez Jr’s promoter Bob Arum speaking to Dan Rafael earlier today said:
“I think we’ll try to do Chavez against Miguel Cotto next spring in a big pay-per-view, but in the meantime we’re looking at those guys for Chavez in the fall,”
Arum’s plans are likely dependent on Cotto winning his yet to be confirmed December rematch against Antonio Margarito, and of course Chavez winning his November defense. Continue reading “Top Rank and the WBC divided over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr facing Sergio Martinez -Scott Heritage” »

ESPN’s Dan Rafael reports Bob Arum saying he can make the fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (43-0-1, 30 KOs) and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (37-0-1, 27 KOs) if Golden Boy wants to co-promote the event.
Here’s what Arum had to say: “We just need a willingness on Canelo’s part to do it. We’re ready to do that fight. But I don’t think they want the fight.”
That “they” that Arum speaks of is Alvarez’s promoter Golden Boy. Chavez is promoted by Top Rank.
Both companies have been at war over the years, refusing to co-promote.
Recently, Golden Boy founder Oscar De La Hoya buried the hatchet with Arum.
Doors to future co-promoted events have been opened, but does that mean they’ll happen?

MANILA—Showtime has the inside track, but HBO may yet spring a surprise and make a solid bid to air the third fight of the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez trilogy on Nov. 12.
After all, a Pacquiao headliner, regardless of the opponent, is a guaranteed blockbuster as proven by the pound-for-pound king’s 147-pound clash with Shane Mosley on May 7.

In recent months, there has been reports of declining viewership from different websites for boxing articles especially if the topic is not about Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.
For avid boxing fans and industry critics, the declining readership trends are quite alarming. They predict the sport is headed for extinction if no changes are made to salvage whatever is left of the once-popular ancient sport.
And unless some changes are made now, its popularity will continue to decline as promoters are more concerned about financial survival than anything else.
In the last two years, boxing stories have revolved around the twice-scuttled Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight. For a writer who wish to generate more reads for his articles, he only has to write anything about these two guys and he gets the viewer’s attention.
