Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach conversed with US Army soldiers of Task Force Duke, 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division from Ft. Knox, Kentucky via a Skype call yesterday, the soldiers are currently stationed in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Freddie Roach stated to the soldiers in Afghanistan that;
“I would put Manny Pacquiao in front of Sergio Martinez at 150lbs.”
“This would be a great fight for Manny.” Freddie informed the group
Sergio Gabriel Martinez (48-2-2, 27ko) is the WBC Diamond Middleweight Champion and P4P best middleweight in the division. Recently, “Maravilla” stopped Darren Barker of the UK in the 11th round in what was an unexpected performance by the under-rated Barker.
Martinez has been mentioned as an opponent in Manny’s future but the weight has been a dampening issue as Pacquiao has been quoted as saying he would face Sergio at 147, which I too low a weight according to Camp Maravilla.
This is the first time either Roach or Pacquiao has expressed an interest in meeting the middleweight champion at a 150 pound catch weight.
“Sergio got exposed in his last fight” Roach explained to our troops. “I think Sergio is very athletic, but I don’t think he is a good boxer.”
The Hall of Fame trainer further beat the drum for the completion of a Mayweather – Pacquiao bout by speaking his mind regarding Floyd’s continual procrastination in putting ink to pen and signing a contract.
“I want Manny’s next fight to be against Mayweather”
Manny Pacquiao agreed with his trainer and gave the crowd a big thumbs up, letting the audience know that he wants Mayweather next as well. This sparked a cheer with the troops.
“Manny is a gentleman, I’m not, I will say it I want Mayweather next. Mayweather, quit hiding and sign the contracts!”
Meanwhile, in training at the Wild Card, Freddie Roach has put a picture of Juan Manuel Marquez in front of Pacquiao’s speed bag so when the Pac-Man is working the bag he can remember Juan’s dig at him.
“When Manny hits the speed bag I put the picture of him (Marquez) wearing that t-shirt, just to remind Manny,” Roach said.
Manny Pacquiao reiterated his dedication to closing the chapter that has been Marquez without angst.
“Well, he has the freedom to make some alibis and reasons and complaining that he won the fight. I’m not (upset) at them or Marquez,” Pacquiao said. “But, you know, I’m very motivated for this fight because the question is, what more do I need to prove just to make them satisfied that I won the fight?”

America is known for the land of honey and home of the brave. Now, it is a home for cowards, duckers, and trash talkers alike but mostly niggers athlete. Only two white I know from the UFC namely Chael Sonnen and Frank Mir who talk so much but during fight night can not back it up. I’m not a racist I am only trying to convey my opinion.

I think it’s a waste of efforts for Manny to fight Sergio at 150lbs. The catchweight remedy which megastar American boxers had popularize is suffering a backlash right now. The catchweight was good for Sugar Ray Leonard but seems evil when a Manny Pacquiao uses it. Even if Manny ktfo Sergio at 150lbs haters would be railing against it because of the catchweight. Manny should face the winner of Cotto vs Margarito at 154lbs….no catchweight! That’s a more rewarding fight because of the fanbase involved & again NO CATCHWEIGHT for legacy sake!

Boxers like Sergio Martinez are the ones asking for a fight from Manny. The catchweight issue may at times seems controversial, but Manny doesn’t meet the minimum weight limit even at the 150 lbs. catchweight like he did with Margarito. He came in way below the agreed weight. If these boxers uses the same system that most mma fighters use to cut weight without destroying their bodies instead utilize the cutting of weight to gain the upper hand come fight time once they are rehydrated, I don’t think we will have any issues. These fighters who wants to fight Manny has no issue with catchweight because for them the money is right.

some of y’all Pac fans are shaming Pacquiao by using these ignorant racial slurs. If FMJ used some derogatory racial slurs by calling Pacquiao sushi eating-yellow-midget-dog-eating-PED-user, let em. don’t stoop to his lvl. Pac is above that so should y’all Manny Pacquiao fans or so i’m hoping.

Martinez is too big for Pac, then again, that’s what th said of ODLH,Clottey and Margarito. good match up even if it’s at catchweight of 150 lbs.

On to the issue of Floyd vs Manny, all he has to do is agree to take the test. Roach says sign the contract, Roach should be telling manny to do the same. One minute the say the agree to take the test then the next they go back on their stance.

Tell The Truth, What’s funny is you propagating a scam, the OST test demand is based on a manufactured steroid/PED allegations that was proven when Floyd Jr. avoided 2x a court ordered deposition. The whole world knows the drug test demand is not the issue here but the Pacquiao fear of Mayweather. The real test is the “Pacquiao Test”. So stop lying and come clean.
