WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao will be featured in the November issue of Playboy, the popular entertainment magazine for men, according to USA Today.

The November issue of the magazine comes off the press as the Filipino boxing superstar prepares to battle with Mexican counter puncher Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Playboy story entitled, “In the Jungle With Manny Pacquiao” was written by Kevin Cook, who traveled to the Philippines for the featured Playboy story about the pound for pound best boxer in the world and his views about having (or not having) sex before a major fight.

Interesting side stories await Playboy readers, including among others, Pacquiao’s fighting cocks and how he enjoys being with the people in is community.

Meanwhile, at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood where Pacquiao is on his last leg of training for the November 12 fight, several media outlets have reported the pound for pound king is now running out of sparring partners.

Jorge Linares, Pacquiao’s regular sparring partner had to be dropped as he had to face his foe for the lightweight title at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  Linares lost to Antonio DeMarco via 11th round TKO Saturday night.

Hastings Bwalya of Zambia, a former sparring partner of Floyd Mayweather was Pacquiao’s latest sparring partner but the engagement did not last as Pacquiao battered him so badly and he had to be replaced by Ray Beltran, one of Pacquiao’s regular and reliable partner.

Pacquiao was reportedly irked by trash-talking Olympian from Zambia before the start of the sparring session He was reportedly taunting Pacquiao to mix it up and as they collide, the African who was unbeaten in seven fights, found himself in deep trouble with the angry Pacquiao  which resulted in his bloodied nose and mouth.

Bwalya was reportedly recommended by cut man Miguel Diaz.

Hello Leo !

Linares got destroyed by DeMarco in the 11th round , and the ref saved his life by stopping the fight .

Wasn’t Linares ahead on all three judges’ scorecards, after ten rounds ? Shouldn’t Linares’ corner been aware that he had complete control of that fight after ten rounds ? Don’t you think his corner should have advivsed him to stay away – that he had this fight in the bag ?

Who was in his corner that night ?

Oh yeah : Freddie Roach ! Great advice , huh ? Doesn’t Roach have another guy you like in his stable ??
