Manny Pacquiao says the pieces were falling into place for a world title fight with Floyd Mayweather until the American boxer tried to low-ball him on the split of the pay-per view revenue, said to be in the region of Sh13.2 billion.
Pacquiao said he called Mayweather personally to try to broker a deal for a world championship fight and thought they had an agreement until Mayweather brought up the pay per view.
Mayweather said he would give Pacquiao a $40 million (Sh3.32 billion) lump-sum payment if Pacquiao agreed to let Mayweather keep the pay per view earnings for himself.
“It was embarrassing to me,” Pacquiao said on Tuesday. “He was trying to take advantage of me. It is clear he didn’t want to fight.”
Some experts have estimated that the pay per view could be around Sh13.2 billion ($160 million).

Tell you what when Gayweather will fight Pacquao……. once Pacquiao shows his decline in invincibility in his fight with Bradley then Gayweather will fight him… But for now, HELL NO, it will not happen. Gayweather sees nothing changed in Pacquiao when he fights marquez, Pacquiao will be energized in-front of Gayweather for Gayweather cannot put this in his mind, 100 million filipinos all inside his brain and will demoralize him that he will lose the fight. gayweather is only a local, while Pacquiao is a global phenomenon and he is so afraid that a mere look of an energized asian infront of him will exposed him as nothing but a fraud.

42-0 tune in may 5th to watch the surgeon operate or tune in to watch nanny get exposed like he did against Marquez.. If you really a manny fan you cannot argue he won the fight. Marquez didn’t get a fair fight… although a mayweather fan yes…. but more of a boxing fan… remember mayweather had to give up $60,000.00 to marquez for coming in way overweight.. he was already the bigger guy and to come in way overweight… marquez had no chance

CBS, ABC, Yahoo and ESPN already reported it that Manny countered with the offer. Manny will give him $50 million and Manny gets to keep PPV revenues, do you think Floyd will accept it either. Manny was just giving Mayweather a doze of his own medicine. Mayweather even joke at Jimmy Kimmel show to fight Mayweather winner-takes-all and nothing was heard fromMayweather’s camp about it. Another offer was 50/50 and the PPV revenue to be split 55/45 for the winner. Manny never lies. Floyd’s promoters are the ones who keep lying.

Bob Arum says the deal between Mayweather and Pacquiao can be made this week. But it has to be 50-50 split. Arum says he doesn’t need Mayweather to guarantee Pacquiao $40 million, because he can guarantee Pacquiao’s purse by himself.
On the other hand Mayweather’s people say; that in order for the fight to happen, Pacquiao just needs to understand one thing…. that he will never ever make the money that Mayweather makes no matter how long he fights.
