Manny agreed to Olympic style drug testing, smaller purse and being the underdog. I think Floyd should also give. Three weeks from May 5th isn’t so much of a gap. We wanto see the fight happen.

Look manny needs to get some balls and dare to be a man. He is playing this good guy role too much now and it’s sickening to my eyes.. May 5th is cinco de mayo there is no better way to celebrate his heritage and the Mexican people’s heritage.. Mayweather wants it so why is manny making excuse after excuse along with Bob arum.. I’m telling you this is hurting boxing.. This type of shit needs to change!! because if not many people are just going to watch mma & UFC . Mayweather is the man for standing up and saying via twitter let’s make it happen now ball is in mannys court step up to the plate son!!!!!!

Aight this is becoming a joke! All this talk about, “making it happen for the fans” is a bunch of BS! I’ve been a boxing fans for years and I know the politics that happens behind close doors. Step up and be a man, now that the tables are turned on who’s to blame the fans are getting more excuses then ever before! And to be honest as a supposed leader of many (Manny), you’re being lead by one greedy, disrespectful old man (Bob Arum)! Now you should realize why Mayweather felt him and if you were really trying to make this fight happen you should do the same and stand as a Man that can be followed not one who follows!

Don’t fight Floyd until he serve his jail time for beating up on his mother’s kid in front of them and threaten to hurt them. Fighting him before he serve his jail term is like you are condoning violence against women, and saying it is okay. Send the right message. It takes a man to do the right thing and any drunken fool to do the wrong thing.

Manny, no matter what just make it happen in May. You’re the best in my book and I know those injuries you suffered during your fight with JMM has healed by then. If you don’t fight Floyd in May, this fight will never happen anymore. Run the show this time and don’t let Bob spoil it. Bob Arum has milked you with millions of dollars for a very long time and it’s time you decide this time. If you let him decide to fight someone else, I’LL ASSURE YOU THIS: YOU WILL LOSE CREDIBILITY HERE IN THE US AND YOU’LL BE BRANDED A COWARD. Fight this scumbag now or never. Give what the people wanted. If you really want Floyd as your next opponent, THEN MAKE IT HAPPEN. You’re the only one who can decide on that and Bob can’t do anything about it if you want it.

The first two comments on here are stupid. From a business perspective moving the date back would allow more time to draw the world in for this MEGA FIGHT. Honestly, I would give this a whole year just to hype it up even more. The court is going to give another delay to Mayweather’s jail time if this fight does happen. It is BIGGG money for the community and it’s the boxer’s profession (his way of making $$$). Of course the court would grant a delay for Floyd. I say give the fighter’s enough time to prepare and let’s get a quality fight between the two best p4p boxers!!!

I’m a big Pacquiao fan who lives in las vegas. Yesterday Floyd challenged pacquio by a twitter.”Manny Pacquiao I’m calling you out let’s fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see,” while I’m watching TV, the sport news person said, ” I can’t wait to see this fight,” then I changed the channel and still the talk in the sports news is about Pacquiao and Mayweather,I think this is the right time for bout of them to fight.

I’m not saying you running. thats harsh. i wont say that but you are avoiding Floyd. These two words could have the same meaning but to some people its harsh to say manny running.

To Guest at 8:37 am, this morning.Number 1: Manny Pacquiao is from the Phylipines, not Mexico.Just to get that straight. And he does alot for his country men and women as a Senator in thier parliment. Now, that aside, the main problem to getting this fight going has always been Mayweather, he only yells fo it, when he doesn’t seem to think it will come. And as far as being a disgrace to this great sport.I can’t think of any one wearing those shoes better that old Floyd.Every time that man opens his mouth, he disgraces the sport, himself and his familly.Manny, I feel will let this to rest for good. and hopefully Floyd can learn to take things with class and like a man this time.Instead of a bag of hot air with excuses blurting from it.

Look not 2 days ago and years before every accused Mayweather of not wanting to fight Manny, now this guy TWEETS! that he wants to fight Manny, and everyone is saying that Manny won’t do this, Manny won’t do that. For God sakes i remember after the Cotto fight, and Margarito fight all Manny and Freddie Roach did was tell Max Kellerman and the public that they want Floyd, and what did Floyd do… NOTHING. It’s all on Manny and frankly this whole fight is now his call and i think he should play with Floyd alittle. So in the mean time i think Manny should get rid of Timothy Bradley, Lamont Peterson, Vyacheslav Senchenko, winner of Berto vs Ortiz 2, hopefully Berto, or even an action packed fight with Marcos Maidana. Plus come on may 5th is a Mexican holiday so just fight “Canelo” Alvarez and be respectful to this public for once, and it would be nice to finally see him fight another undefeated fighter for once or if he wants to be “great” he should fight Cotto, or move up in weight and fight Martinez why not? But look this fight will happen, theirs never been a fight that didn’t happen, except for Bowe vs Lewis. So people don’t worry, this fight will happen.

Floyd is nothing but a criminal. Of course, his desperate fans have no one else to cling to, so they kneel before a woman beater. Floyd is surely #1 P4P woman beater of the world. Manny should choose Bradley or Peterson. For sure Bradley or Peterson will fight like men inside the ring. The woman beater will just run around in the ring, and then Pacquiao gets blamed for the boring fight.

He’ll never be the good samaritan persona. He’ll walk by you and spit in your wounds. That’s what he is. What kind of a person even his kids he’ll threaten and beat up a woman? Will there be an alignment of all the major components for this fight to come to fruition? I believe that Bob Arum CEO of Top Rank Promotions holds the key that can unlock the fury of these two ring warriors.
As we look into the history of boxing materialize because fighters fought in a different era. Pacquiao and Mayweather Are legitimate and viable opponents fighting in the same era. Both men are still at the pinnacle of their boxing careers, and still show no signs of deterioration in their boxing skills. It would be considered a travesty to the boxing world and the fanatics of the sport to see this confrontation fade into obscurity, and fall into the category of boxings greatest failures to promote and execute a spectacle of such historical, athletic, prolific and economical magnitude.

Floyd called his bluff and now manny is stalling. He should now say ok let’s get it done and put it on floyd. Maybe Floyd does not really want to fight. Maybe he already signed a contract to fight someone else.call his bluff now. Time for cheeks to be put into seats enough said!!!@scott thanks for reading my comments so right back at you smiley face knob@ tank girl… I know manny is not mexican you fuckers !! Many is a Filipino. I was saying that this would be a great date to celebrate his heritage. Next time think about what you read before calling someone ignorant you fuckers!!! And to you @ tank girl you really don’t know anything about boxing so you better go read up some more because you are making me laugh. So you said the main problem to getting the fight is Floyd right?? Mayweather has a venue and date set. If you haven’t noticed your fellow PAC fans are telling and begging for PAC to take the date!! Read up sweety.. Then you say Mayweather is a disgrace to his fans and family right ?? Last time i check all you haters tune into 24/7 and YouTube vids to see this disgraceful man.. It is starting to show that Manny is the one running away from the fight because of an alibi after another. Manny once said that he is willing to fight Floyd even with a smaller purse, just to make the fight happen. Now, he is insisting for a 50/50 share. Arena, Date, Injury from previous fight…all these boils down to one if the fight does not happen. Manny is scared and the only reason why this mega bout did not happen. A scratch to his legacy and a shame to all of us Filipinos. We never turn our backs from a fight, specially when initiated to us. Make the fight HAPPEN NOW. Win or lose, you get our salute.

Look, dude responded w/ a reasonable time so shut the fuck up you yapping Mayweather bitches… Manny put himself on the spot as to when he is willing to make the fight… If you are going into the biggest fight in the sport and in your career, you don’t just go running in there after suffering a bad cut…. That’s stupid, so you guys are the stupid ones… You don’t show up to race the Kentucky Derby immediately after your horse suffers a bad sprain w/ the best chance of success and winning. That’s Floyd playing games trying to get the advantage, fuck w/ heads, and stay out of jail a little longer.
Shut the fuck up Mayweather, go do your fucking time, Arum already said November would be Optimal…. Manny says June. If Mayweather waits and is available and does it or is still willing to do it then, then I’ll call a spade a spade if Manny or Arum back out…. Bottom line is I said this two years ago… Floyd is an opportunist. He will wait for Manny to show wear and tear and signs of slowing down and then he will ask for the fight… He didn’t want Manny when he was breaking orbital sockets and leaving Cottos face like Mashed Potatoes… He waited till MAnnys legs started cramping during Mosely, and till he went life and death w/ Marquez..

First of all, Manny is not Mexican- get your nationality straight! As a matter of fact, Manny beat every Mexican boxers! Oh, and what’s up with this comment “May 5th is cinco de mayo there is no better way to celebrate his heritage and the Mexican people’s heritage..”? What do you mean celebrate his heritage?! I’m not sure I can reiterate this enough, but Manny is Filipino; therefore, his heritage would be from the Philippines.. duh! Also, Spain, not Mexico colonized the Philippines. Spaniards/Spanish people are from SPAIN, Mexicans are from MEXICO- Not the same buddy!
Secondly, “Phylipines” is not a country. Maybe you should use google or dictionary.com so you can correctly spell the country where Manny Pacquiao is from. Manny is from the (spell it with me) P-H-I-L-I-P-P-I-N-E-S.
Lastly, just like many of you, I would like to see this fight! But I would like to witness a clean and fair fight, that is all!
