Manny Pacquiao States, “I shall fight this case to the finish”

Manny Pacquiao, widely regarded as the world’s best pound-for-pound boxer, said on Monday he would fight charges filed against him by the Philippines’ main revenue agency and that the case had affected his training for his next fight.

Pacquiao, who has won world titles in eight different weight divisions, is facing contempt charges for what the Bureau of Internal Revenue calls his refusal to provide documents relating to his sources of income and tax payments.

“I shall fight this case to the finish, until the last and final round,” Manny Pacquiao told a news conference in Manila. “I cannot train hard with this excess baggage.”

Manny Pac-Man Pacquiao is scheduled to fight Timothy Bradley on June 9, 2012 at the Mgm Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Elected congressman of Sarangani, the 33-year-old described the case against him as “plain and simple harassment” and said he was being singled out by the revenue agency.

“Over the years as a boxer, product endorser and businessman, I have not short-changed the government of what is due,” he told reporters.

Mga demonyong mga taga BIR. Di man lang nila inisip ang malaking kontribution ni Manny sa Pinas. Ok! Let’s do some audit. Manny has to include all his donations to charity such as supporting and sending back over 3,000 students to attend school. Church, school and hospital renovations, business expenses.

Mga alagad ng demonyong mga corrupt sa Pinas, go after Corona and his allies, go after corrupt politicians and other criminal syndications (there’s a lot of these in the Philippines). BIR is afraid of them for fear of their lives so they go after the righteous whom they know will not have the means to threaten them but instead pray for them.

Ayusin at tapusin mo na agad yun kaso sa BIR. Kuha ka ng mga PR man para di masyado masira yun reputasyon mo para future political plans, endorsements at boxing.

Manny must make those corrupt taxmen pay. That’s the only way they will learn that there is God.

@Arnold: Thank you! they should have just talked to Manny about it and resolved without publishing it. I hope and I will pray that this won’t distract Manny’s fight this coming June and all his other fights until his retirement. God is with you, Manny. There is nothing to worry about. We will just pray for them. Just stay humble and think of our God only above all and then family second. God Bless you always.

@delpilar:You are right. They should not wait of something that will happen in their lives and then realize there is God. They should do it now….Pray, Pray, Pray. God said, watch and pray…..the time is coming soon…
