Manny Pacquiao- meeting with Nike founder, execs postponed ’til July

MANILA, Philippines – Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao’s meeting with the bosses of top apparel company Nike was postponed last week due to the former’s prior commitment with his family.

Top Rank chairman Bob Arum related so in a recent interview with Boxingscene.com as reported by ABS-CBN News, saying that the meeting scheduled last June 18 didn’t push through because Pacquiao “had promised his family a one-week vacation with them at this beach resort.” According to the same report, Pacquiao had taken his family to a vacation in Boracay.

Pacquiao’s meeting with Nike executives, including brand founder Phil Knight, was supposedly for the “huge Pacman product line” that the company plans to create, as Arum related in an earlier interview with Examiner.com.
