Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. may be reluctant to fight each other inside a boxing ring, but neither one opposes putting the other in his place on Twitter.
On Monday, Mayweather set the social media world on fire when he announced his somewhat negative opinion of New York Knicks superstar, Jeremy Lin. To hear Mayweather describe it, Lin is only being hyped by the media right now because he’s Asian, not because he’s had a historically great 10-day stretch. This was his tweet:
“Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he’s Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don’t get the same praise.”
We broke down why this tweet was partially right and partially wrong already, so there is no need to rehash that. Instead, let’s fast forward to what Manny Pacquiao did on Tuesday. Undoubtedly — though he’d probably never admit it — in a direct response to his undefeated arch rival, the Filipino champion offered this tweet:
“God Bless Jeremy Lin.”

I think mayweather is a gelous man who wont admit that there are better men in this world then him. we all know all he cares about its money not moral things. whay does it bother him that there are other races achieving big things like jeremy or manny pacquiao. hes jelous because people are accomplishments in lesser time the he does and because pacquiao is compared to ali and sugar ray robison and his not maybe if he would shut his mouth up people will like him and I mean people not just african americans. even I know mayweather can beat pacquioa im just confused why the heck is floyd scared to fight if that would make him a muchmore highly ranked in the hall of fame. but all he cares about is money money money. good thing is he will soon be forgotten. hope floyd readsthis cause hesa disgrace to our african americans we want someone to makes us proud not enbarrased by his mouth talkig that does not prove anything.

Hey Kilo! When you post something, finish the whole story. Say Floyd wants 70/30 split or at best 60/40 to fight Pacquiao. He can’t use the blood testing anymore as an excuse because Manny agreed to it already. Now he’s finding ways to avoid Manny again by demanding a split he knows Manny’s camp will never accept.
Ask your self. WILL A CONVICT DESERVES 70/30 AGAINST A CONGRESSMAN? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! COM’ON ASK YOURSELF. HE’S LUCKY HE’S BEING OFFERED 50/50. MANNY OFFERED HIM 45/45 WITH THE REMAINING 10% GOING TO THE WINNER AND FLOYD STILL REJECTED.
COM’OOON ASK YOURSELF!!!

Manny said no to $40 Million and he said no to fighting at the MGM with Mayweather… But he says yes to $20 million and yes to the MGM with Bradley… DOES NOT MAKE SENSE… and on top of that EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE PACQUIAO AND MAYWEATHER.

It’s about pride and principle, Kilo. Floyd has the right to make the offer and Manny has the right to reject it if it deems not justifiable. What doesn’t make sense? Does it make sense at all that a 8-time division champion, AP boxer of the decade, 3 out of the last 5 years boxer of the year, a congressman and humanitarian, has beaten more future HOF in his career than Floyd, has the right to reject 30/70. ASK YOURSELF? Manny is known around the world. Floyd is only known here in the US. What’s his basis for asking 70/30? Why won’t you respond to the fact that Manny even offered 45/45 and the remaining 10 would go to the winner? Does it make sense to you that the reason Manny offered at least 50/50 because his winngs actually go to the poor sectors of his district and not for personal gain?
