Manny Pacquiao has cleared the air regarding the recent interview and article by Granville Ampong .

“I didn’t say that, that’s a lie… I didn’t know that quote from Leviticus because I haven’t read the Book of Leviticus yet,” he said.

Pacquiao explained his true feelings towards the gay community.

Pacquiao said: “I’m not against gay people… I have a relative who is also gay. We can’t help it if they were born that way. What I’m critical off are actions that violate the word of God. I only gave out my opinion that same sex marriage is against the law of God,”

As explained in previous pieces this is more in line with the Manny Pacquiao ,we have come to know, and work with over the years.

Manny is awesome! I think it is great that you stand up for what you believe in. I agree with you that homosexuality is a sin, but that does not mean that we hate the people who participate in such activities. Everybody sins, does that mean that we hate everybody? Of course not. I understand you perfectly!

Apparently there are some missteps and issues with Pacquiao’s PR team… Words get twisted easily, and once they do, they hit the press/media like wildfire. I still don’t agree that “the word of God” is says in the bible. The bible has been proven wrong on so many accounts, it’s ridiculous. It has convinced these christians that it is the only truth. Funny how a little bit of editing, power, and greed can make people believe whatever you want. People shouldn’t follow so blindly, and do research in religious studies.

With that said, at least Pacquiao unlike most christians states that “we can help if they were born that way” suggesting that in pretty much all cases, homosexuality is not a choice. As I’ve mentioned before “Homosexuality is found in over 450 species of the world, but homophobia is found in only one retraction— some hateful humans. Which one seems more natural now? That’s basic science which can not be disproved.

Manny have shown over and over again to be a worthy opponent in the ring and out. His recent statements offer proof of this. If a reporter asks for your opinion they better be ready for it; even if they don’t agree. Here in America we have been given the wonderful gift of freedom of expression. As soon as you try to stifle it, then you are guilty of being un-American.

If the Grove wants to be short sighted and “ban” Manny because they don’t agree with his views, does that mean that it’s ok for other businesses to “ban” gay people because they don’t agree with homosexual views?

Manny, stick to your guns on this one. The homosexual agenda folks will make it seem like there are many more who disagree with you than there actually are.

Even if homosexuals are born this way it doesn’t excuse their behavior. We’re all born into sin. It isn’t our job as Christians to excuse it, we need to overcome it. People are born with an attraction to whatever sex, doesn’t mean they can rape them!

Homosexuality is such a serious sin we need celebrities to speak out against it so our children don’t forget it. Homosexuality is wrong, there’s no debate about it when using the Bible or even nature for that fact.

It isn’t love to tell someone “if it feels good do it”… If someone were walking blindfolded off a cliff to their death, would you try to stop them? HOmosexuals are like those who are blindfolded walking to an eternal HELL. It is LOVE that we apply when we explain to them what they’re doing is wrong and they need to seek forgiveness through Christ….

While you have your right to your views about gay marriage, as a gay man I am very concerned about that passage from Leviticus being linked to you because so many men look up to you as an ideal of masculinity. Violence is not masculine, violence is violence. I would hope that you continue to make an effort to clarify that you were not advocating violence against people simply because they are gay, because it could cause a lot of innocent people to suffer. I have never and will never understand why being gay is such a threat to people. It is a fact of life, it simply is. We are all human beings trying to find our way in this world.

I know so many gay people that could kick your ass Manny. Big gay soldiers with big gay guns. You’re just a puffed up superstitious, bigoted showboat. You wouldn’t last a second in a real fight. Gay American soldiers protect your worthless life overseas every day, then you turn around and say they don’t deserve the same rights as you. You make me sick.

Manny, you are a man of truth. The bible does make it clear that homosexuality is a sin. Thank you for standing up to the truth and not going with what the world says is acceptable.
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. ” I Corinthians 6:9
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:22-23

I consider Manny to be one of the greatest fighters pound for pound. I also consider Manny to have integrity for standing up for what he believes in. The man has character, which is hard to find these days. Don’t back down Manny, we are behind you 100%.

Thank you for standing up for what you believe. We can glorify God in this way! Loving God has nothing to do with hate, but we are absolutely entitled to express our morality. I’m overjoyed when ppl don’t water down Gods word for publicitys sake.

why so much hate being tossed around no wonder there so many wars and chaos all over the world. an opinion is just an opinion thats it. This is how we get into trouble, people over-reacting about everything. Be Pragmatic, how about the ECONOMY, how many people right now commenting about this are unemployed or underemployed. How about poverty and world hunger. how about PEACE. Humanity will cease to exist because of intolerance, ignorance and anger. America, we are 15.6 trillion in debt, this gay rights issue is just a smoke-screen for whats looming out there. just my OPINION!

“then you turn around and say they don’t deserve the same rights as you”

Nobody said that gays don’t have the same rights. You’re fighting for gays to have the rights to sleep with fellow gays? You can do that. You have free will.

SIMILARLY (and this is the point you miss), straight men and women can have sex all they want, and it is their free will. But if they aren’t married, it is ALSO a sin.

In short, sex outside of matrimony is a sin, whether it’s between men and women, men and men, or women and women.

Gays do not have less rights. In fact, you seem to be asking for gays to have more rights than non-gays. Why should it be fine for gays to sleep every man they desire, but sinful for men to sleep with every girl he desires?

You may disagree with the Church, but the Church is consistent.

Lastly, although gays are born with those tendencies, the fact is that every human is either XX or XY. Regardless of tendencies in 450 species of animals, the law of nature is for male and female to be partners. That’s the reason genders exist.

People should have the right to express their opinion regardless of which side of the fence they are. When Christians express their opinion they are bigots? But when liberals express their opinion they are doing the right thing? When liberals try to silence Christians by saying, people who hold certain views have no right to be in a mall because mall is not for intolerant people, isn’t that a case of double standard? Why is it ok to be intolerant if you belong to the liberal opinion?

If you are fighting for freedom of views you should be consistent.

U r our hero Manny, thank u for speaking the truth and not bowing down to political correctness! Floyd Mayweather is a puppet and entertainer who puts self and the almighty dollar before God and morality.

Thank u for staying true to yourself and to our creator, the moral majority needs more sports heroes like u who doesnt bend like a weak tree in the wind. God Bless u.

And fight Mayweather and knock him on his sorry liberal people pleasin ass!
