Haye should prolong career to crack America - Khan

Amir Khan has told David Haye to put his retirement plans on hold in order to join him across the Atlantic and crack America.

WBA heavyweight champion Haye is counting down the days to his unification showdown with Wladimir Klitschko, which takes place in Hamburg on July 2.

The Londoner, 30, has continuously asserted that he will hang up his gloves before his 31st birthday in October, meaning his super-fight with Klitschko could potentially be his farewell bout.

However, Haye is still a fairly young fighter, with only 26 professional fights on his CV, and Khan, who spends much of his time in America training with Freddie Roach at the Wild Card gym in Los Angeles, believes his fellow Brit would thrive if he moved to the States before calling it a day…   Read more
