Freddie Roach: Bradley should face Khan before Pacquiao

Wildcard Gym boss Freddie Roach would like to see his protégé Amir Khan take on Timothy Bradley in December to unify three of the light-welterweight titles. The fight would be between the division’s top two boxers but Roach believes that ‘Desert Storm’ has an alternative agenda and will avoid a bout with the unified belt holder.

The 51 year-old four-time ‘Trainer of the Year’ sees the winner of the forthcoming Erik Morales v Lucas Matthysse WBC title fight on September 17th as a more realistic proposition for ‘King’ Khan’s final bout at 140lbs in December before he moves up to welterweight.
