Manny Pacquiao’s fifth appearance on the highly-rated HBO 24/7 series will be shown on CNN starting with its first episode at midnight of October 22 ET/PT.
Episode two will be shown on Saturday, October 29 at midnight ET/PT. Episode three will air on Saturday, at midnight November 5 ET/PT while the final episode will be shown on Friday November 11 midnight ET/PT.
The final edition will be shown less than 24 hours before the fight on November 12.
It will be Juan Manuel Marquez’ second appearance since losing to Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
HBO 24/7 series records activities of fighters and their respective teams in their camps as anxiety and excitements builds for the fight.
The series has earned 14 Sports Emmys for production excellence.
Pacquiao has a 14-bout winning streak and if he beats Marquez on November 12, it will be his 15th consecutive win since losing to Erik Morales in 2005.
In 2004, Marquez and Pacquiao fought to a controversial draw in a featherweight bout (126 pounds). Pacquiao should have won on a split-decision if not for a scoring error committed by one of the judges who scored a round at 10-7 instead of 10-6 for Pacquiao’s three knockdowns of Marquez.
In 2008, at super featherweight (130 pounds), Marquez and Pacquiao clashed in a hotly contested rematch with Pacquiao earning a split-decision, as Pacquiao’s third-round knockdown proved to be the difference in the bout.
The upcoming Pacquiao vs. Marquez trilogy will take place at the MGM Grand Garden on November 12 in Las Vegas. Nev.
