Bradley has pinball plan vs. PacMan

Timothy Bradley won’t need the start of training camp to develop a game plan for Manny Pacquiao. He already has had one for more than three years.

That’s how long Bradley has been studying Pacquiao, preparing for the day they would meet in the ring. That day will be June 9, when the undefeated junior welterweight champion tries to end the reign of the Filipino superstar at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“I’ve watched all of his fights, especially when he had those breakout moments against Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez,” Bradley said this week. “I definitely watched all those trilogies. I love to look at fighters’ weaknesses and strengths and come up with a game plan.”

His game plan includes being relentless.

“I’m young and energetic, and he hasn’t fought a young, energetic fighter that’s willing to take risks in the ring in a very long time,” Bradley said, underselling recent Pacquiao opponents such as Marquez and Miguel Cotto. “I feel it’s going to be a great fight.”

Bradley, 28, became Pacquiao’s consolation opponent after talks for a Pacquiao bout with Floyd Mayweather never got serious. Pacquiao and Mayweather actually spoke on the telephone, and Mayweather declined to offer Pacquiao a piece of the pay-per-view revenue. At least that’s Pacquiao’s version. Mayweather surely will tell his side when he holds his press conference at the Apollo Theater on Tuesday to hype his bout with Cotto.

Let me say this between Mayweather & Pacquiao..

When the first mention of Pacquiao vs. Maywether occured; Mayweather had just asked for Olympic Style drug testing. Pacquiao refused. This is Pacquiao’s fault, why the fight was not made right away. So the first blame is pointed at Pacquiao 100%.

Now, when it comes to who deserves what with the money split…

Well, Mayweather is undefeated yes with a 42-0 record. That is awesome. He has made every fighter against him look ordinary, even to the point of making them look like amatures. This is also awesome

The downside to Mayweather is, he is a boring fighter compared to Pacquiao. Also Mayweather at the most fights once a year; sometimes to the point of fighting once every 1 1/2 years. It is easy for a fighter to remain undefeated and fresh when you only fight at the most once a year. And it is easy to stay this way.

Now let’s go to Pacquiao. Pacquiao is 100 times more exciting to watch than Mayweather. If you were to watch tapes of past fights, you would end up watching more Pacquiao fights over and over again than Mayweather fights, because like I said, Pacquiao is a far more exciting fighter than Mayweather. Also Pacquiao fights 3 times a year. And he gives more of himself in every fight. Meaning he sacrifices his body and health to give people an exciting fight. now with a record of 54-3 is he undefeated like Mayweather? No.. So does this make Mayweather deserve more money than Pacquiao if they were to fight right now.. I say probably not..

The reason behind this is.. if Mayweather had the same amounts of fights that Pacquiao has had than definately Mayweather would deserve more… meaning if Mayweather’s record was 59-0 instead of 42-0 then yes he should deserve the bigger split. But because like i said before, he only fights once a year at most, Manny has fought 59 times (including the 3 losses and 2 draws) meaning he has fought 17 more fights than Mayweather has fought. So with all this being said…

Who deserves what???

Bottom line.. Pacquiao has had 17 more fights than Mayweather so Mayweather getting more money because he is undefeated and with a habbit of fighting once a year i would say he doesn’t deserve more on this alone, maybe if he was 59-0.
But, because Pacquiao was the first reason why this fight has not happened. With not agreeing to olympic style testing, which is definately in no way anything wrong with that request or demand by Mayweather, because everyone has to agree with Mayweather when he says he just wants to clean the sport and have everyone fight in fair fight. Everyone should stand behing Mayweather on this 100%.

So like I said.. because Pacquiao was the first reason why this fight has no happened, maybe it is fair that he takes just a little bit less, but not alot, maybe 48-50 and only because of this, but not because Mayweather is undefeated. Your thoughts?

Since people are used to getting mad with what they read right away.. let me just say this was JUST MY OPINION

It’s going to be a Bradley-Pacquiao Trilogy instead of Mayweather-Pacquiao.

$160,000,000 projected total PPV earnings plus at least $60,000,000 for Floyd if he wins VERSUS only $40,000,000 for Pacquiao.

BLAME IT ON FLOYD for coming up with that stupid plan.

Floyd and Manny:

Floyd, ” Okay you stupid Asian. Here’s my plan for your life. You’re going to fight me for $40,000,000. But I’m going to keep $200,000,000.”

“Oh by the way.. you’re still going to cook me that sushi with cat and dog… because ‘ALL I HAVE IS LOVE IN MY HEART’ “

@Kilo, REALLY??? Its Pacs fault why Mayweather asked for an ODTS and the fight didnt happen?? Look real talk! 50+ of Pacs opponent only had the normal drug test that the boxing comission required. They all fought Pac and theyre still living and some are still fighting such as Cotto, Marquez, Morales, Clottey and Diaz! Now, my question is why is Mayweather so spooked about facing Pacquiao when the others are so willing?? If Mayweather wants money, the MONEy is there no doubt! How many times did Mayweather belittle Pacquiaos boxing skills? NUMEROUS times its insane! BUT WHY IS IT MAYWEATHER ASKING TOO MANY DEMANDS??? If it aint the drug test its the money split! Next would be what underwear Pacquaio should wear during fight night! LOL!

Look, the only fighter in the world that has grounds to demand 50/50 split or even more is none other than Pacquaio, the one and only 8th world title holder there is!!!!

Kilo, right, it’s just your opinion. But not the opinion of the majority. Only die hard fans would stand behind Floyd why he would deserve more. It was never Manny’s fault the first time this fight didn’t happen. WHY WOULD ALL OF A SUDDEN FLOYD WOULD REQUEST AN OLYMPIC STYLE BLOOD TESTING WHEN IT WAS NEVER UNDER ANY BOXING GOVERNING RULES AND THAT HE NEVER REQUESTED THAT FROM ANY OF HIS PREVIOUS FITS. Just like Roach said, Mayweather can’t make up his own rules if it wasn’t there. WHO IS HE ANYWAY TO MAKE UP HIS OWN RULES? And this is the very main reason why he’s being sued. I just hope he gets more jail time when the judge rules on the defamation suit. Why would he agree to 50/50 back then but request an Olympic style blood testing. Majority of boxing fans knew that that was Floyd’s ploy to avoid Manny right away. Now that Manny is ok with that blood testing, he now wants more money split than Manny.

2nd: Being undefeated is not a reason for Floyd to get more. Remember that Manny beat more future Hall of Famers than Floyd. But forget about that argument. Just look at where they at now at the moment and ask yourself if Floyd still deserves more. Manny is an eight division champion, the one and only in the history of boxing; Manny is the current boxer of the decade; boxer of the year 3 out of the last 5 years; Manny is a Congressman and humanitarian known around the world, Floyd is a convict known here in the US with a very bad reputation. SO HOW CAN ANYONE SAY EVEN FLOYD’S FANS THAT HE DESERVES MORE? If there’s anyone who deserves more it should be Manny but Manny is willing to split everything 50/50.

2nd: Being undefeated is not a reason for Floyd to get more. You already said it yourself

Manny Pacquiao says 2 more fights and he is done in boxing. He said, he is definately done with boxing in 2013. But wants to fight 2 more times, and really wants Mayweather for November. Now is the time for ‘SOMEBODY’ to step up to the plate, and ‘step their game up’.

Miguel Cotto is finished.. he is declining, Margarito is a slow fighter who just stands in front of you.. Mayweather is fast and doesn’t stand there to get hit ever.. Cotto will lose easily. He is slow, constantly backing away, which means he will run out of gas by the 4th round, because Mayweather is is supreme athlete. Cotto gets hit too much, look at all the marks mr. slow, sluggish, with one eye Margarito did to him. Basically Cotto is being paid to give Mayweather a 43-0 record.
After seeing yesterdays fight between Adrien Broner vs. Eloy Perez and Marcos Maidana vs. Devon Alexander. I REALLY BELIEVE PEOPLE GET PAID TO TAKE A LOSS.
I’m really starting to hate De La Hoya and his fucking golden boy promotions bullshit! They basically paid these two guys to take a loss on their record. Fuck Eloy Perez was WAY TOO SMALL for Broner… and remember i told you yesterday maidana looked fat…. he was sluggish as fuck yesterday.. and he even said so after the fight that that division was too big for him, because alexander was a southpaw and fast it gave him problems, along with the moving up in weight.

(remember, please don’t get mad) this is just my opinion

Kilo, sorry but you are wrong. The reason the fight did not happen was because Floyd accused manny of using steroids and made all kinds of accusations. Manny is very proud and refused to take the test. I am sure if he asked respectfully without the accusation , he would have done it. I know I would have never taken any test based on how it came about. Mosely, ortiz were not accused so it was easy for them to accept plus they needed the money. This is why he is being sued, and it has not gone away.

MIGUEL COTTO: “Good Afternoon! Thank you all for coming to support Miguel Cotto and Floyd. It’s a pleasure for me to be here and to announce this great fight. I don’t have a lot to say, you know I don’t say much. All I have to say is that Miguel Cotto like always, is going to prepare like never before to come out champion of Puerto Rico. March 4th I leave for camp and I will return to Puerto Rico on May 6th as champion. That is all I can guarantee.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER: “I have no doubt that my collection of belts will increase again and Cotto’s reign will end on May 5th.”

Comment by Nick F. — February 27, 2012 @ 2:21 pm

All signs point to Mayweather as to why the fight hasn’t happened!
The commissions job is to govern the sport (drug testing, clean decisions, etc.). It is not Flloyd Mayweather’s job to tell other fighters how the sport should be governed. Flloyd is the one with prior drug problems in the past and Manny has never had an issue. Manny has a global following while Flloyd has a national following. With that being said, it is stupid to ask the person on a global level to take a lot less money. Flloyd knew there would never be a deal accepted other than a 50/50 split and that is a fact. Manny is a much more exciting fighters and polls show that his fights are more interesting and exciting. People follow Flloyd like they did with Ali in the end of his career, they watch in hopes that he losses. If the fight happens, I have Manny winning by 4 rounds and wins the decision. He throws twice as many punches as Mayweather, but has the same accuracy as Mayweather (look at the numbers). Flloyd looks slower in both feet and hands every time he fights while Manny looks stronger and faster every time.
